So to protect yourself and those with you, here are 3 quick tips for what to do…
1. Have a pair of tight-fitting swim goggles with you – they’re fast and easy to put on and will protect your eyes from the gas.
2. Always keep a plastic zip-lock bag with a bandana for each person and a small plastic bottle of cider vinegar handy.
The vinegar can help neutralize the gas, so quickly empty the bottle in the bag and soak the bandanas in the vinegar before putting them over your nose and mouth to breathe easier.
3. Get upwind or escape to high ground (like a hill or building roof top) – The gas stays low to the ground and high ground is more defensible if you have to fight back when things get even uglier and looting breaks out.
Now, If you think mobs and tear gas aren’t something you’ll encounter, think again.
All you have to do is watch the news to see that things are heating up and that even in small towns, violence can erupt – especially during a natural disaster when people get hungry and desperate.
Neighbors can quickly become an angry mob and there are things you should be doing NOW just in case.
But knowing how to defend against tear gas is just one of the strategies you need to master to prepare for a complete breakdown, when the $%#@ hits the fan.

Here is an guide for helping people that might be trapped in this. This might be tourist and Thai people that get in between this.
When this happen, there was Temple where monk was.
Many monk got problem because of this. And that is why i write about teargas.
People that is poor might be in between this.
And not know how to get out from area that has this problem.
This is a good way to get out.
Maalox is a brand name antacid containing calcium carbonate to neutralize or reduce stomach acid.
Soak a bandanna or other cloth in apple-cider vinegar or
lemon juice and tightly cover your mouth and nose with it.
How To make a Tear Gas Mask
Step 2: Supplies
For this project you will need the following:
- a 2 liter soda bottle
- a n95 rated face mask that is good for particulates. Tear gas is a dust, not a gas so this will be perfect
- Duct tape (i used gorilla tape
- Stapler

Step 3: Mark and cut
The
first step is to mark your bottle and cut it. I used a sharpie to mark
the bottom off and the dip the bottle takes to fit to your face. I then
took a regular knife and cut the shape out.
Step 4: Tape the edge
For
this to work, you have to create a seal on your face with the bottle. i
created this seal with a bit of gorilla tape around the edges. Wrap the
tape around the edges until you feel like you'll get a good seal. Check
the seal by putting the mask on your face, plugging the spout and
breathing in. If you have a seal, the bottle should concave a bit to
your face.
Step 5: Disassemble the Facemask and put into bottle
Also you might use a windows sealer around the edges

How to Safely Get Rid of Tear Gas
DO NOT APPLY WATER!
Do NOT wash your face with water if you suffer tear gas. You should not wet your skin: it increases the effect of the tear gas.
Instead,
apply vinegar or lemon juice to the skin in order to get rid of the
effect of the tear gas.
Cloths with some apple vinegar or pure lemon
juice are very useful in riots.
You can press some lemon in a plastic
bottle before going to the protest. So you can wet your mask with lemon
juice (or vinegar), and it will decrease the effect of tear gas.
If you don’t have any vinegar or water-soaked bandanas, or may be around
someone who doesn’t, carry an onion on you. If gassed, break it in half
and sniff it, and get it close to your eyes….it greatly reduces the
irritation in the eyes and nasal cavity
Eyes
If your eyes are burning or if your vision is impaired, do not rub your
eyes. Remove contact lenses and flush your eyes thoroughly with cold
water for at least 10 minutes. Do not put the exposed contact lenses
back in
Remove exposed clothing.
Once you are out of range of
the gas take off all your clothes that may have been exposed (this
usually means everything down to your underwear).
If you are wearing a
pullover shirt, cut it off rather than bringing it over your head. Do
not put these clothes back on. Seal them in a plastic bag and leave the
the bag at the scene--hazardous waste specialists generally come to
clean up after RCAs are deployed--or take it with you so that you can
clean the clothes later
Rinse thoroughly with cold water or a neutralizer.
Hot water opens the pores, which causes more of the RCA to be absorbed
through the skin.
Rinse your whole body in cold water for 3-5 minutes--a
shower or hose works perfectly--but do not scrub or apply soap yet.
Touching your skin will spread the chemicals and rub them in.
If you
have a neutralizing solution, such as the baking soda solution mentioned
above, apply this liberally all over your body, paying special
attention to exposed areas or burning, red, or itchy skin.
Many RCAs can
be rinsed out of the eye with milk.
Fill a shot glass about half full
with milk, hold it up to the affected eye and tip your head back,
blinking a few times to make sure you rinse well. As your rinse, whether
with water or neutralizing solution, try to position yourself so that
the water runs directly off each part of your body, instead of trickling
down from your head to your toes.
The water that comes off your body
will be contaminated, so make sure not to get it in your eyes or on
other people
Wash with soap and water.
Shower with warm water and soap only after you have thoroughly rinsed
with cold water. It's important that you shower; do not take a bath.
Get medical treatment.
In many cases, you will not
need medical treatment, but if symptoms persist once you are thoroughly
clean, if you experience severe symptoms or loss of vision, or if you
experience pain in your chest, see a doctor or other health professional
immediately
